I (Dave Harper) worked afternoons and Jimmy Lewis worked evenings.<br /><br />After hurricane Celia in 1970 the owners of KRYS hired a writer to debrief the staff which resulted in a book about all our adventures. I have been trying to find that book for decades, but I don't know the title or author. It battled between itself and KEYS for the top spot. KEYS was more hard rock. The station owner was Ace Lloyd, sales manager was Jim Springer and salesmen included, Bill Scott, Brady Malone, and George Desmukes; Bud Little was the news director. J Gordon Lunn was the drive-time disc jockey who later moved to Odessa and became a celebrated weatherman in the Midland-Odessa area.
