KJR AM has been on the air in Seattle, Washington since 1922 (and even earlier as an amateur and experimental station.) The 50,000-watt outlet has carried a full-time Sports format since 1991.
KJR FM began broadcasting in 1960 and airs a Classic Hits format currently known as "95.7 The Jet."

I'm not 100% sure of the actual name of this radio station from Gladsaxe Municipality in eastern Denmark. This website is for an outlet at 100.9 FM called Kanal Gladsaxe which may or may not be the same station. Google translates the sticker to "Your and my radio."

WYSL / WPHD
1400 AM WYSL was a Top-40 station in Buffalo, New York. In 1969 sister station WYSL-FM began playing Progressive Rock at night while simulcasting the AM programming during the day.
In 1970 WYSL-FM switched call letters to WPHD and began playing Rock full-time.

1070 AM WANM was on the air in Tallahassee, Florida from 1974 until 1997, most notably as an Urban/Soul station. The call letters of the daytime-only outlet referred to Florida A&M University which is the only public historically black university in the the state. The WANM call letters are now in use by Florida A&M's radio station located at 90.5 FM.

The 1000-watt (daytime) station originally went on the air from the Marcus Hook Baptist Church and has carried their Sunday services every week since going on the air on July 4, 1948. The call letters reflect their city-of-license: (W) Voice of CHester.

KNHC "C89.5" airs a full-time Dance format in Seattle, Washington. They are owned by Seattle Public Schools and broadcast from Nathan Hale High School in the Lake City neighborhood. The 8500-watt station is run by a small staff of professionals along with volunteer DJs including students and community members.

The first station broadcasting on AM 1230 in Columbus, Ohio had the call letters WMAN and later WSEN. The WCOL calls began in 1934 and were in use until 1997. They were probably best known as a number one rated Top-40 station in the 1960s and early 70s.
WCOL FM went on the air in 1948 and has carried a Country format since 1992.
