The World Service of The Christian Science Monitor

The Christian Science Monitor is a nonprofit news organization that publishes daily online articles as well as a weekly print edition.  In the late 1980s The Monitor began shortwave broadcasts to Europe, the Middle East and Africa from WCSN in Scotts Corners, Maine.  They would go on to add broadcasts from WSHB in Cypress Creek, South Carolina and KHBI in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands.  The World Service of The Christian Science Monitor ceased operations in June 1997.

CDR Radio Network



90.3 FM WCDR went on the air in the early 1960s and was owned by Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio.  The Religious outlet eventually grew to a network of more than a dozen stations and translators in Ohio and Indiana.  In 2011 they were all sold to the Educational Media Foundation and folded into EMF's K-LOVE or Air1 networks.
