KBOY





KBOY signed on the air from Medford, Oregon in 1958 at 95.3 FM.  They moved to 95.7 FM in the early 1980s.  KBOY has carried a Rock format for more than 50 years.

KVRX






91.7 FM KVRX is the student-run radio station of the University of Texas at Austin.  They were originally only heard via cable television with call letters KTSB but moved to FM in 1994 with new calls KVRX.  The 3,000-watt station shares a frequency with community station KOOP.

LRT

Lithuanian National Radio and Television is a publicly-funded, non-profit news network based in Vilnius, Lithuania.  The government-owned network began radio service in 1926 followed by television broadcasts in 1957.  LRT currently operates three radio channels:  LRT Radijas airs music, news and sports for a general audience, LRT Klasika broadcasts cultural programming and classical music and LRT Opus plays contemporary music aimed at younger listeners.

KFRC








KFRC first went on the air in 1924 from the Hotel Whitcomb in San Francisco, California.  They began simulcasting on 99.7 FM in 1993.  The KFRC call letters left the AM band in 2005 after being sold.  The FM side continued with the Oldies format before flipping to Rhythmic Hot AC in 2006.  They eventually switched frequencies and call letters to KMVQ.

Radio Oranje went on the air in central South Africa in 1986.  They are now known as OFM and broadcasts an Adult Contemporary format along with a full news service as well as agricultural, business and sports programming.  OFM's head office is in Bloemfontein, South Africa.

KDIZ

AM 1440 KDIZ was a Children's station in Minneapolis, Minnesota from 1996 to 2015.  They were the longest-running "Radio Disney" affiliate in the country.  At its height the network had more than 60 stations mostly on the AM dial.  Minneapolis was probably the only market that once had rival kids stations--ABC Radio/Radio Disney and Radio AAHS.  The two began as collaborators but Disney withdrew from their contract and began competing.  This resulted in a lawsuit that was eventually won by Radio AAHS in 2005.

CJSW









Radio at of the University of Calgary began with a carrier current station soon after the campus opened in 1960.  A cable FM station began in 1972 and CJSW officially went on the air in 1985.  The 18,000-watt station is run by a small staff along with more than 200 campus and community volunteers.
