WAFX hit the airwaves circa 1988, give or take, and blew me away with the "Classic Rock" format. At that time I was pretty much glued to WNOR, but now would split my listening between the two. I left the area in 1989 and later learned that THE FOX and WNOR had become sibling stations and midday jock, the legendary Mike Arlo moved to WAFX, I catch his program on-line occasionally. Mike's been on the Hampton Roads/ Tidewater airwaves for like 46 years. BICYCLE.
