1550 AM KQWB has been on the air in Fargo, North Dakota since 1965. They were a Top-40 station in the 1970s and later aired Adult Standards and Sports formats. They moved up the dial to 1660 AM in 2000. Their logo looks awfully familiar to a station that many might have listened to after daytimer KQWB went off the air each day.
Sister station KQWB "Q98 FM" went on the air in 1968 and had been a Rock station for nearly its entire existence. In 2013 KQWB moved to 105.1 FM while 98.7 FM became CHR outlet KLTA "Big 98.7"
