1580 KRZI began broadcasting in Waco, Texas in October, 1962. Around 2001 they moved to the expanded-band frequency of 1660 AM which provided a much better signal.
KRZI is now a Sports outlet and ESPN Radio affiliate as well as the flagship station for
Baylor University athletics.
