91 FM

91 FM in Auckland, New Zealand began broadcasting in 1983 with the call letters 1MJK (they were known as "Magic 91" at the time).  According to this website, 91 FM was the first full-time commercial FM radio station in New Zealand.  In the early 1990s they were branded as the "Rock of the 90's" but by 1993 had changed to "The Breeze".  91.0 FM is currently part of the ZM radio network of CHR stations located throughout the country.

91 FM either hired or sponsored a team of what was New Zealand's first cheerleading squad circa 1988.
