AM 1290 WMVP was an R&B Oldies station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The (W) Most Valuable Player call letters refer to the Hall of Fame NFL career of station owner Willie Davis who played defensive end for the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns.
