KICY AM & FM
KICY AM & FM air a Religious format in Nome, Alaska. While the FM half concentrates it's signal to the immediate communities around the southern Seward Peninsula, the AM half blasts 50,000 watts and even dedicates 6 hours at night to programming in Russian for the neighboring Siberian regions of Kamchatka and Chukotka. According to their website, they are the only commercial radio station in the United States licensed by the FCC to broadcast into another country in their language. отличный!

WRFA
107.9 WRFA (W Radio For the Arts) is a 100-watt, non-profit, LPFM station licensed to Jamestown, New York. They went on the air in September 2004.
The current general manager of WRFA is Dennis Drew who also plays keyboards in 10,000 Maniacs. I've been a fan of the band since hearing the weird and wonderful song "Planned Obsolescence" on the also weird and wonderful WUWU around 1982. According to the liner notes of the band's 1990 release Hope Chest, Dennis Drew also helped establish Jamestown Community College's now-defunct 91.5 FM WJWK sometime in the late 1970s.

Choice FM & Invicta FM
A reader to this blog emailed to ask if I had any decals from England's now-defunct Choice FM and Invicta FM. Here you go....
Choice FM broadcast from 1990 until 2013 when they re-branded as Capital XTRA. They were London England's first radio station to target a black audience.
Invicta Sound began broadcasting to Kent in southeast England in 1984. A name change to Invicta Radio came shortly after and then later became Invicta FM. They were on the air until 2009 when they became part of the Heart radio network of Adult Contemporary stations.
