WPEZ

WPEZ was a Top-40 station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 1973 until 1980.  Supposedly, the original format was going to be Easy Listening (hence the call letters W Pittsburgh's EZ Listening) but that format never made it to air.

    Somehow that WPEZ would soon transformed into the now legendary and iconic 3WS WWSW!
