WUOT

91.9 FM WUOT is a public radio station owned by the (W) University Of Tennessee in Knoxville.  They signed on the air in October 1949 and was originally a student-run operation which produced programs heard on stations throughout the state.  They became a charter member of National Public Radio in the early 1970s.  Today they air a mix of NPR and public media shows along with Classical, Jazz and Folk music.
