98.5 FM WNCX (W North Coast EXpress) began in 1986 with an eclectic Rock/Top-40 mix but quickly shifted to Classic Hits just months later. They eventually repositioned as a Classic Rock outlet which continues to this day. Rock artist and local Cleveland musical hero Michael Stanley hosted a show on WNCX for almost 30 years.
