97.4 Rock FM
97.4 Rock FM broadcasts from Preston in northwestern England. Despite their name Rock FM is actually a straight-ahead Pop/CHR station. A name change to Hits Radio Lancashire is set to take place in April of this year.
but in the 80's, that was the first FM station - completely automated, by the means of the equipment and the TM Stereo Rock format - played the 50/50 mix of album oriented rock and the hits of the day.
WLVY in Elmira, New York carries a Top 40/CHR format as "94 Rock".
ReplyDeleteWLVY was previously on FM 94.3, but just recently moved to AM, but with a translator at 93.9...so the branding still works. :)
