WDUX
800 AM WDUX began broadcasting in April 1956 from Waupaca, Wisconsin. They were a daytime-only station until 1987 when they were granted post-sunset authority. After the station was sold in 2020 they switched call letters to WPCA.
The current WPCA-AM 800 added a translator, W264DS-FM 100.7, and carries an Active Rock format as "100.7 The Foundry". The name is a nod to the Waupaca Foundry, a trio of iron foundry plants located in the city, which employ around 4,500 people.
Sister station, WDUX-FM, switched from an Adult Contemporary format to a Classic Hits format. Both format changes happened after the sale to Tower Road Media in May of 2020.
A minor note, the WDUX callsign is in reference to the stations being previously owned by the owners of WDUZ/Green Bay.
