WYRF

WYRF is a 37-watt, low-power FM station in Florence, South Carolina.  Now branded as "Radio Free," they play pop and rock music from Christian artists.  The handy video below demonstrates how to apply this sticker to your vehicle.  It appears I failed to tilt the sticker to the recommended 11.5 degree angle.  All apologies to WYRF...I'll do better in the future.

WOI AM & FM


WOI AM is one of the oldest radio stations in the United States having begun experimental broadcasts in 1911.  Their first licensed transmission took place in April 1922 while the FM sister-station took to the air in 1949.  WOI is owned by Iowa State University and is licensed to Ames with coverage through the entire Des Moines metropolitan area.  Programming is a mix of syndicated NPR and PRI shows along with locally produced Talk programs and BBC news.

WABE


90.1 FM WABE is a public radio station and NPR affiliate in Atlanta, Georgia.  They are owned by the city's public school system which explains the call letter meaning--(W) Atlanta Board of Education.  These giant 15-inch long stickers date to when they primarily aired Classical music which is now relegated to weekends.  WABE has been on the air since 1948 and were probably the first-ever non-commercial station in the southern US, at least on the FM band.

WKBN





WKBN has been broadcasting in Youngstown, Ohio since 1926, originally at 1400 AM and now at 570 AM.  They air a News/Talk format along with Cleveland Indians/Guardians baseball games.  WKBN FM went on the air in 1947 and held those call letters until the early 2000s when they became WMXY.   The Youngstown Pride was a pro team in the World Basketball League which existed from 1988 until 1992.
