KMJJ was an Adult Contemporary station licensed to North Las Vegas, Nevada from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s. They were an early user of voicetracking, where DJs pre-record their on-air presentation which is then combined with music and commercials to resemble a live air shift.
1140 AM has seen many format and call letter changes in its 56 year history including Top-40 (KLUC) / Heavy Metal (KRSR) / "Casino Radio" (KXNO) / Sports and Talk (KSFN.) They are currently KYDZ, a Radio Disney affiliate.
The blue and white style license plates were in use in Nevada from 1961 to 1985.
KRCC (K Radio Colorado College) carries NPR shows along with various music programming. They are licensed to Colorado Springs, CO.
This sticker resembles Colorado's current license plates except that the mountains are now white and the numbering is green.
WKBW was a Top-40 station in Buffalo, New York from the late 1950s until the early 1980s. 1520 AM is currently WWKB and carries a Progressive Talk format.
These plates were in use from 1973 to 1986. New York's current license plate, in use since 2010, seems to be a nod to these gold and yellow classics.
