A listener club card from between 1982 to 1989 when they carried a Big Band/Nostalgia format branded as "JKL 94 Great Music".
WJKL is currently part of the massive
K-Love network of Christian Contemporary stations and are now licensed to Glendale Heights, IL.

As someone who grew up in Northern Illinois, I always thought WJKL stood for The Fox, for the Fox River Valley area around Elgin? My friend the late Marty Zivin was a DJ and program director there.
