KBBB

I'm not entirely sure where this KBBB sticker is from.  There was an AM station with those call letters licensed to Borger, Texas in the mid-1970s.  More recently there was a KBBB FM in Billings, Montana and there's currently one in Bay City, Texas but I doubt either of these are related to the one on this decal.  Anybody have any info?  Leave a comment if you do.

WPOM's call letters reflect their broadcast area of West Palm Beach, Florida.  They've had multiple formats over the years including Top-40, All-News, Disco and a split format of Gospel and Blues.  1600 AM had the WPOM call letters from 1971 to 1999 and retook them again in 2015.  Their format is currently listed as Ethnic.

92.1 WMDK was on the air in Peterborough, New Hampshire from 1981 to 1991.  This sticker dates to 1896 when the Broadcasting Yearbook listed them as having a "Good Times Music" format.  This 1990 letter shows that they had flipped to an Album Rock station.

Detroit, Michigan's 96.3 FM WHYT began as a tightly-programmed CHR station in 1982.  Over the years they gradually added more Dance and Urban Contemporary music and by 1992 they played almost all Hip-Hop and R&B as "96.3 Jamz".  In 1994 they began adding Alternative Rock to their playlist mixing Nine Inch Nail and Pearl Jam with Coolio and Snoop Dog.  In 1997 they changed call letters to WPLT and shifted to a Modern Adult Contemporary format as "The Planet."

"The Zone" was trimulcast of three stations in northern Michigan: 95.5 WJZJ -Glen Arbor, 94.5 WLJZ - Mackinaw City and 93.9 WAVC in Mio, MI.  They began as a Modern Adult Contemporary station in 1998 and later shifted to a harder Alternative Rock sound after adding bands like KoRn and Limp Bizkit.
