Huey Lewis and the News / WRIF / WPLJ
A few weeks ago we went to see Huey Lewis at the Rose Music Center just north of Dayton, Ohio. Huey's voice and the band sounded great (especially the horn section) and, except for a couple new songs and an a cappella section in the middle of the set, consisted of nothing but hit after hit. "Do You Believe in Love" "Workin' for a Livin'" and "Heart and Soul" (their best song...IMO) were particular highlights. I could go the rest of my life without ever hearing "The Power of Love" again but it was still nice to see it live.

WRME
A magnet from WRME in Chicago, Illinois. "87.7 MeTV FM" is technically and legally a low-power analog TV station broadcasting on VHF television channel 6. However, WRME essentially operates as a radio station and carries an Oldies format. Their television presence consists of a screen layout showing the current song artist and title as well as Chicago weather and traffic information. MeTV FM is co-branded with the MeTV network which airs classic television shows like M*A*S*H, The Love Boat, The Andy Griffith Show, Cheers and, best of all, WKRP in Cincinnati.

WBNY
Little is known about Commander Bunny and his pirate shortwave station WBNY. The last post on his Facebook page was in 2012 where he claims to be from Missoula, Montana. He uses a post office box in Belfast, New York for written communications but this mail drop is clearly owned by a third party that forwards the mail to him. Commander Bunny also relayed other shortwave pirate signals via his WBNY Relay Service.
Take a listen you slack-jawed, lip-drooling, knuckle-dragging, big, dumb, monkey-boy!

KEJO AM & FM
KEJO "1240 Joe Radio" airs a mix of local and syndicated Sports programming in Corvallis, Oregon. The 1240 AM signal signed on the air in 1955 as KCOV and became KEJO in 1994. Benny Beaver has been the mascot of Oregon State University since the early 1940s. 101.5 FM KEJO was an Adult Contemporary station from 1979 to 1994. The call letters are a tribute to (K) Emily JO Pastega Simpson, the daughter of a former owner of the station who died as a young adult.
