The legendary 1110 AM KRLA was a powerhouse Top-40 station in Los Angles, California. By 1984 KRLA had gone all-Oldies and then added an R&B tinge to the music by the 1990s. Somewhere along the way there was a brief fling with a Country format. In 1998 they switched to Talk and then flipped to Sports in 2000 and became KSPN. The heritage KRLA call letters now reside at 870 AM which airs a conservative Talk format as "The Answer"

AM 1090 KTNS was a daytime-only Country station licensed to Oakhurst, California near Fresno. In 2002 the owners moved the station to 1060 AM which allowed for 24-hour broadcasting with a more powerful signal. There are cats crawling around this sticker but I doubt that "kittens" was used as part of their branding despite the KTNS call letters.
