WOKO AM & FM

The WOKO call letters could be found on the AM dial in Albany, New York from 1931 until 1983 (and briefly again in 1987/88.)  This sticker probably dates to the early 80s near the end of their second attempt at a Country format.

98.9 FM WOKO has been a Country station in Burlington, Vermont since 1990.  A footnote on the Wikipedia page for what is now WOPG says that the WOKO call letters were chosen for this station at the behest of an employee who wished to honor the original WOKO in Albany.
