WRKK was indeed country from 1982-1985 (later under the calls WQUS - "US 99"). But this sticker dates to 1980-82, when K-99 was AOR. 99.5 signed on in December 1976 as WVOK-FM, then to WRKK in 1979 after WVOK(AM) was spun off. Enjoying the blog!

WRKK "K99" was a Rock station from Birmingham, Alabama from 1976 to 1982. 99.5 FM has been "Rock 99" WZRR since 1988.
