An anonymous commenter asked if I had any WPLJ stickers from when they were known as "Mojo Radio" (I don't have any from their days as "Power 95"....sorry.)

In 1991, National Radio Hall of Fame member Scott Shannon was brought back from his Rock-40 "Pirate Radio" experiment in Los Angeles to become WPLJ's Program Director and morning drive host.  It was decided to de-emphasize the call letters of the station and rebrand as Mojo Radio.  This was WPLJ's last, short-lived attempt at a CHR format...they've been Hot AC or Modern AC ever since (with Shannon still helming AM drive with the Scott & Todd in the Morning show.)
