"97.7 K-Rat" was an Oldies outlet licensed to Altamont, Oregon from 1997 until 2009 when the FCC ordered it off the air. KRAT was supposedly licensed to someone named George J. Wade but he was unaware of this until he heard about it from the IRS. The station was actually being operated by Sandra Soho who hijacked Wade's identity. Soho was sentenced to 38 months in jail for fraudulently using Wade's name (among other charges) and fined half a million dollars.
