107.7 KIST was an Alternative Rock station in Santa Barbara, California from 2004 until 2007.
Former sister station AM 1340 carried an Oldies format circa the early 2000s. The KIST call letters first appeared on this frequency in Santa Barbara back in 1947 and were brought back on three separate occasions, most recently in 2008. 1340 AM is currently
KCLU, a non-commercial, educational, NPR affiliate owned by (
K)
California Lutheran University.
