93.9 FM WMEV (Wonderful Mountain Empire of Virginia) is a Country station licensed to Marion, VA. AM 1010 WMEV existed from its sign-on in 1948 until 2010 when it became WUKZ.

My neck of the woods! It and WBRF (who you've featured before) in Galax, VA and WFMX down in Statesville and my hometown station of WKSK in Jefferson, North Carolina were all vital to me as a kid!
