88.9 FM WRDL is a non-commercial CHR station run by students at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio.  The station began in 1966 and chose their call letters from the initials of (W) Richard Dean Leidy, an adjunct professor that founded the radio/television department at what was then called Ashland College.
