Stickers and a magnet from CJAT, the main station in a network which was branded as KBS (Kootenay Broadcasting System) licensed to Trail, British Columbia.  CJAT is now known as "EZ Rock" and carries an Adult Contemporary format.

The station now carries a Top-40 format as "95.3 The Gorilla."  WZNF is licensed to Lumberton, Mississippi.

89.1 FM WEMU broadcasts from (W) Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI.  They are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year having gone on the air at 88.1 FM in December, 1965.  WEMU airs a mix of NPR programming along with Jazz, Blues, Latin, Roots Music and EMU sports.

WAGE



Leesburg, Virginia's WAGE went on the air in 1958 at 1290 AM as a daytime only station offering a variety of music and news.  They later switched to 1200 AM and went all-news/talk.  A 2005 ownership change eventually resulted in firings and the gutting of almost all local news content.  The 1200 AM frequency turned to static and WAGE went off the air for good in 2009.

CQ-FM was an "open narrowcasting service" in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia circa the late 1990s.  In an August, 2000 investigation ruling by the Australian Broadcasting Authority, CQ-FM was told to cease operations because they were providing, without a license, a commercial broadcasting service.

Indiana Public Radio is a five station network covering 22 counties in eastern and central Indiana.

WBST 92.1 FM - The flagship of the network emanates from (W) Ball STate University in Muncie, IN.  WBST began commercial broadcasting in 1951, although radio on campus actually began 28 years earlier when two students built a "radiophone" allowing students to hear transmissions from other cities.  A Ball State freshman named David Letterman began his broadcasting career at the station when he hosted a short-lived Rock show on what was otherwise an all-Classical outlet.

WHLM

Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania's WHLM (W Harry L. Magee) started broadcasting at 550 AM in 1955 and at 106.5 FM less than a year later.  In the late 1990s WHLM FM was sold while the AM half turned in their license and went silent.  The WHLM call letters resurfaced in 2001 under new ownership and now broadcasts at 930 AM with News/Talk, Oldies and Philadelphia Phillies baseball.

Denver Colorado's "96.5 The Peak" began in 1994 with a AAA format.  They flipped to Alternative in 1998 and added Howard Stern in morning drive.  The 100,000 watt station was sold about 4 years later and currently carries a Regional Mexican format known as "Radio Tricolor."  KXPK is licensed to Evergreen, CO.
