"a series of dikes"? At last the truth about female Canada Post supervisors and their activities in Holland comes to light.
Well, Wikipedia (which I rip off almost daily) says that "polders and a dam" connect the island but who the heck knows what a polder is (a series of dikes.) Wait, aren't dikes and dams the same thing? Now as for dykes.....that's something else entirely.
