Bruchem--the station's first license holder) is a Multicultural station airing mostly Chinese-language programming. They originally went on the air in 1972 to serve British Columbia's European first-generation immigrants. Today they broadcast in over a dozen languages including Spanish, Italian, Greek, Vietnamese, Persian and Punjabi. CJVB is licensed to Vancouver, British Columbia.
