KRVM (

Mechanics) is a non-commercial Adult Album Alternative station broadcasting from
Sheldon High School in Eugene, Oregon. Specialty programs in the evening and weekends include Native American music, Blues, Electronica, Funk and Reggae. Eugene's first FM station went on the air in 1947 with two purposes: (1) To serve as a training ground for people looking to get qualified for technical and programming jobs and (2) To transmit educational programs to the city's public schools. They no longer do the second part but they still train high school students in the art of radio. KRVM simulcasts on a translator at 90.1 FM licensed to Florence, OR and on KSYD 92.1 FM licensed to Reedsport, OR.
