WMAL
WMAL is a News/Talk station in Washington, DC. The call letters stand for (W) Martin ALeese, a local optician and radio set salesman who started the station in 1925. AM 630 was the flagship station of the Washington Redskins for half a century but gave up their broadcast rights in 1992. WMAL currently simulcasts on 105.9 FM licensed to Woodbridge, Virginia.
