West Virginia Public Radio is a network of eleven full-powered FM stations and seven translators. Flagship station 88.5 WVPB is licensed to Charleston, WV and is also home to the long-running music show
Mountain Stage which has aired since 1983.
In January, 2015 West Virginia Public Radio and television network West Virginia PBS merged their operations under one brand and became
West Virginia Public Broadcasting.
