WHBQ-AM went on the air in March 1925 in Memphis, Tennessee. They were a Top-40 station from the 1950s until the early 1980s and were the first radio station to broadcast an Elvis Presley song. Later formats included Oldies, Talk, Country and currently Sports. Sister station
WHBQ "Q107.5" airs an Adult Top-40 format.
