Slight correction, this was KGVC-LP and was actually on shared-time with KDRA-LP at crosstown Drake University. When KGVC-LP surrendered it's license in 2015, KDRA-LP went full-time immediately after.
Drake announced that it would be surrended it's license for KDRA-LP on August 15, 2019. It looks like they did look for a buyer before it was ultimately cancelled on August 15, 2021.
