WXRK
WXRK was a Rock station in New York, New York from 1985 until 2005. In those 20 years they tried variations on the format including AOR, Classic Rock, Modern Rock and Active Rock. "K-Rock" was the flagship station of the Howard Stern Show for most of the years that WXRK was on the air. After Stern left for Sirius satellite radio, 92.3 became a Talk station known as Free FM. This short-lived failure lasted until 2007 when they once again became "K-Rock" with a hybrid Classic/Alternative Rock format. The frequency is currently home to CHR "Now FM."
This sticker commemorates The Who's June 27, 1989 show at Madison Square Garden as well as three subsequent shows at Giants Stadium in New Jersey.
