KOOL
There are many, many stations that are known as "KOOL" but only one possesses the actual KOOL call letters. "KOOL 94.5" (now slightly re-branded as "94.5 KOOL FM") plays Classic Hits in Phoenix, Arizona. For many years they were a traditional Oldies station. In fact, their Wikipedia entry claims that they were the first station to ever carry the format when they switched to all-Oldies in 1971. The vintage top sticker was from when KOOL had a sister station at 960 AM which carried the KOOL calls from 1947 to 1979 and again from 1983 to 1996. 960 AM is currently News/Talk KKNT "The Patriot."
