WRVZ in Charleston, West Virginia carried a Modern AC format circa 1997 before flipping to Rhythmic Top-40 soon after.  98.7 FM became WCST in 2023 and currently plays Classic Rock as "The Mountain."  WRVZ was licensed to Pocatalico, WV.

WTAX / WDBR






1300 AM WTAX went on the air from Streator, Illinois in 1923 and moved to Springfield, IL in 1930.  They moved to their current dial position of 1240 AM in 1941.  Today WTAX carries a News/Talk format and is also heard on WTAX FM at 93.9 FM.  Sister station 103.7 FM WDBR has been a Top-40 station since the early 1970s.

1430 AM WWWQ "3WQ" began in 1978 as an Adult Contemporary station.  In 1982 they flipped to Country but kept the "3WQ" branding.  This lasted until 1985 when they changed call letters to WKSD.  WWWQ was licensed to Panama City, Florida.

WREY

A mid-1970s sticker from 1290 AM WREY in Louisville, Kentucky.  They went on the air in 1966 and by 1979 has changed call letters to WDGS.  The 1976 Broadcasting Yearbook lists them as having a Middle-of-the-Road format and they were also a Country station at one time as well.  WREY was licensed to New Albany, Indiana.

Radio FFN is an Adult Contemporary station based in Hanover, Germany.  They are heard on more than a dozen frequencies throughout the state of Lower Saxony in the northwest part of the country.  Radio FFN began broadcasting on New Year's Eve in 1986.

WKDU





91.7 FM WKDU is operated by the students of Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Campus radio at Drexel began in the late 1950s with carrier current station WMAX (and later WXDT.)  The Free-Form WKDU went on the air in 1971 and broadcasts with 800 watts.

WCFR

1480 AM WCFR has been on the air in Springfield, Vermont since the 1950s.  The owner of what was then WNIX changed the call letters to reflect the first initials of his three children (W) Carlo, Frank and Ruth.  WCFR is currently a Classic Hits station and is also heard on a translator at 106.5 FM.  The Cosmos are the mascot of Springfield High School.

GU2 Radio

Campus radio at the University of Surrey in Guildford, England began with University Radio Surrey in 1972.  They rebranded as Guildford Campus Radio in 1990 and again to GU2 Radio in 2001 (GU2 is the postal code prefix of the surrounding area.)  Today the one watt station is known as Stag Radio, named after the school's mascot Steve the Stag.
