91.4 Coast FM

91.4 Coast FM is a Contemporary Hit station from the city of Limassol on the southern coast of Cyprus. Listening live while making this post I heard:

Switchfoot "This Is Home"
Tristan Prettyman "Hello"
Secondhand Serenade "Fall For You"
Thea Gilmore "Teach Me To Be Bad"
Elin Sigvardsson "Where To Start"
Communards "Don't Leave Me This Way"

They also broadcast top-of-the-hour news from a London-based news service. Station liners were in accent-free English but there were no DJs in the time I listened.

Candy!

Halloween's not til tomorrow but Beggar's Night was tonight in our neighborhood. Here's TheBoy in his homemade Wedgehead costume and this year's candy haul.

"Candy 101" KNDE broadcast from Reno, Nevada in the early to mid-1990s. I have no idea what their format was as most Google searches lead to the currently operating Top-40 station "Candy 95.1" from College Station, Texas which also uses the KNDE call letters. 100.9 FM is licensed to Sparks, NV and is now an Alternative Rock station KRZQ.
