WXEG is an Alternative Rock station in Dayton, Ohio.  They began in 1995 as "103.9 The Edge" before a trademark dispute forced a branding change to "The X" in 1998.  WXEG is licensed to Beavercreek, OH.

107.7 KRXO was a Classic Rock station in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma from 1987 until 2013.  They now broadcast on an HD-2 subchannel located at 104.5 FM.  107.7 FM is currently "The Franchise" and carries a Sports format.

Adventist World Radio broadcasts Religious programming via shortwave, AM, FM, satellite, podcasting and the internet.  Their potential audience of over 4 billion people spans across an area located between 10 and 40 degrees north latitude--a region that includes North Africa, the Middle East and much of Asia and the Pacific.  Seventh Day Adventist radio broadcasting began in 1923 with a single station in Michigan.  In 1971 they began shortwave transmissions from Portugal aimed at Communist countries in Europe.  AWR currently broadcasts in 80 languages and are based in Silver Spring, Maryland.

102,5 Cultura FM broadcasts from Maringá, Paraná Brazil.  Their first broadcast was heard at 1520 AM on June 15th, 1951.

KIMN

950 AM KIMN (K InterMountain Network) was a Top-40 station in Denver, Colorado from 1954 to 1988.  In the mid-1960s, the #1-rated KIMN was so dominant that they pulled a 56 share of the audience and had more listeners than the next seven stations combined.  The KIMN Chicken began as the station mascot in 1977.

KBZR

AM 1030  KBZR was a Hard Rock/Heavy Metal station in Kansas City, Missouri.  They were part of the nationally syndicated "Z-Rock" network of stations based in Dallas, Texas which existed from 1986 to 1996.  1030 AM is currently KCWJ "The Light" and carries a Religious format.

WRMA "Romance 106.7" was a Spanish Adult Contemporary station in Miami, Florida.  The frequency is currently home to WXDJ "El Zol 106.7" and airs a Spanish Tropical format.

WMXQ WMQX

93.5 WMXQ and 96.7 WMQX simulcast a Classic Rock format in the Muncie/Marion, Indiana area.

WJMN

"Jam'n 94.5" WJMN is a Rhythmic Top-40 station in Boston, Massachusetts. 

WDAO

I saw this license plate while driving to work the other day and snapped a picture at a stoplight.  The plate almost certainly refers to WDAO "The Real Rhythm of the City," an Urban Adult Contemporary station here in (W) DAyton, Ohio.

WDAO went on the air in 1964 at 107.7 FM and, according to their website, was the first FM Rhythm & Blues station in the United States.  The daytime-only outlet has been broadcasting at 1210 AM since 1985.  WDAO airs a mix of R&B, Gospel, Blues and Jazz and was the main radio player in Dayton's legendary Funk scene of the 1970s and 80s.

KXOI

810 AM KXOI "Radio Alabanza" ("Radio Praise") is a Spanish Religious station licensed to Crane, Texas.

KQRX

"95X" KQRX was an Alternative Rock station in Midland, Texas from the mid-1990s to around 2007.  They flipped to Adult Hits as "Bob FM" and then in 2012 switched to Active Rock as "Rock 95.1"

FM 104

FM 104 is an Independent Local Radio station playing contemporary music in Dublin, Ireland.  They went on the air in 1989 as "Capital Radio," later changed to "Rock 104" and became "FM 104" in 1992.

KABL

960 AM KABL was a Beautiful Music/Easy Listening station in San Francisco, California.  Although licensed to Oakland, the station tried hard to downplay their city-of-license by mentioning it only in top of the hour IDs as required by the FCC.  Most other station promos identified them as a San Francisco station, not to mention their call letters referring to the city's famous cable cars.
960 AM is currently KNEW, a conservative Talk station known as "The Patriot."

KOOO

1420 AM KOOO played Country music in Omaha, Nebraska in the 1960s and 70s.  The frequency is currently home to a Spanish Religious station "Radio Luz" KOTK.  The KOOO calls still exist in the market at 101.9 FM "The Big O" with an Adult Hits format.

KFYI

KFYI is a News/Talk station in Phoenix, Arizona.  In 2003 they moved down the dial to 550 AM while 910 AM is now a Fox Sports affiliate.

WXTM

"92.3 Xtreme Radio" WXTM existed in Cleveland, Ohio from 2001 until around 2006.  They were mostly an Active Rock station but became more of an Alternative Rock station by the end of their run.  92.3 FM is currently "The Fan" and carries a Sports format.

WQNQ "Star 104.3" is a Top-40 station in Asheville, North Carolina.
