89.7 WTMD is a AAA/Indie Rock station broadcasting from Towson University in (W) Towson, MarylanD.

WMSC

90.3 FM WMSC broadcasts from Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, New Jersey.  The 10-watt, student-run, Freeform station went on the air in 1966 as WVMS.

WJOL

The 90 year history of WJOL in Joliet, Illinois began when WJBI went on the air at 1400 AM in 1925.  Less than a year later the call letters changed to WCLS (Will County's Largest Store).  Frequency shifts to 1390 AM and 1310 AM took place later in the decade before their final switch to 1340 AM occurred in 1941.  The station switched call letters to WJOL in 1945.  WJOL currently carries a mix of News/Talk and Sports along with a one hour Polka show on Sunday mornings.

Future Hall of Fame baseball announcer Harry Carabina aka Harry Caray got his first Chicago-area broadcasting job at WCLS in 1940.

WEND

WEND "106.5 The End" is an Alternative Rock station licensed to Salisbury, North Carolina.
This week is the 20th anniversary of the beginning of "The End".

WAGG

WAGG was a Country station in Franklin, Tennessee that went on the air in 1953.  They were (and continues to be, with call letters WAKM) known for their hyper-local focus on community events, local news, high school sports and the Trade Time Live call-in swap show.  A scene from the movie Coal Miner's Daughter was shot at WAGG because the equipment in the control room was authentic to the time period when Loretta Lynn was driving around promoting her singles to radio stations.

WVSG

WVSG "St. Gabriel Radio" is a Religious station in Columbus, Ohio. 
AM 820 is the oldest active frequency in the city going back to experimental station 8XL in 1920.  It was also the long-time home of Ohio State University's WOSU which operated from 1933 to 2011. 

KNBR

680 KNBR (K National Broadcasting Radio) is a 50,000-watt Sports station in San Francisco, California.  They have been the flagship station for San Francisco Giants baseball games since 1979 and also carry 49ers football and Golden State Warriors basketball games.

KNBR programming is simulcast on 1050 AM KTCT licensed to San Mateo, CA.

WMXJ

WMXJ "Majic/Magic 102.7" is a Classic Hits station in Miami, Florida and licensed to Pompano Beach.

KOPN

89.5 FM KOPN is an open-access, listener-supported, community radio station in Columbia, Missouri.  They went on the air on March 3, 1973.

KGCR

107.7 FM KGCR is a Christian radio station licensed to Goodland, Kansas.  They are simulcast on 90.3 FM KGCD licensed to Wray, Colorado as well as on two translators.  Another KGCR sticker can be seen here.

KAPY

KAPY broadcast in Port Angeles, Washington from 1958 until 2006.  They were a 1000 watt daytime-only station that signed off at 6PM year round, no matter how late the sunset was in summer.

WMXB

"Mix 103.7" WMXB was a Hot Adult Contemporary station in Richmond, Virginia.  The frequency is now home to WURV "103.7 Play" which is also a Hot AC outlet.

WSCC

"News Radio 94.3 WSC FM" broadcasts with 25,000 watts to Charleston, South Carolina.  Programming consists mostly of syndicated political talkers including Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck as well as a local morning show.  94.3 FM went on the air in 1983 as an Urban AC station with the call letters WLNB.  WSCC is licensed to Goose Creek, SC.

John Boy & Billy

The John Boy & Billy Big Show is a syndicated morning show based in Charlotte, North Carolina.  It is heard on over 60 Rock and Country stations in 19 states.  Their flagship station is Classic Rock "99.7 The Fox" WRFX licensed to Kannapolis, NC.

WQOK

WQOK is an Urban Contemporary station in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina now branded as "K97.5".  In 2009 they switched their city-of-license from South Boston, Virginia to Carrboro, North Carolina.  At one time WQOK was owned by veteran broadcaster Tom Joyner.

KMMZ

"La Caliente 101.3" is a Regional Mexican station licensed to Crane, Texas.  The KMMZ call letters
are a holdover from a previous Adult Standards format known as "Memories 101.3"

CKGS

CKGS began broadcasting on March 19th, 2009 in Saguenay, Quebec.  In early 2015 they switched their branding from "Kool FM" to "Rythme FM"

CJJJ

CJJJ "CJ106 FM" primarily airs an Alternative Rock format from Assiniboine Community College in Brandon, Manitoba.  The student-run station went on the air in 2003.

JOTU

FM Yokohama 84.7 went on the air in 1985 in Yokohama, Japan.  It carries the official call letters of JOTU. 
The Vance K Show no longer airs on Yokohama Radio but can be heard on Tokyo's InterFM.

Radiobrás

The Brazilian government founded Radiobrás (The Brazilian Radio Broadcasting Company) in 1975.  Its aim was to unite all existing state-owned broadcasting stations as well as create new radio and television services to reach remote regions of the Amazon basin.  In 1988 Radiobrás merged with the official Brazilian News Agency to form the Brazilian Communications Company (Empresa Brasileira de Comunicação aka EBC).
