99.3 WHMP was a CHR station in Northampton, Massachusetts.  By the late 1990s they had flipped to Alternative/Modern Rock.

Radio Discovery

My wife and I went on a cruise recently which took us to the Bahamas, Grand Turk and the Dominican Republic. I was surprised to learn that the Dominican Republic is the most visited destination in the Caribbean.  It also has the tallest mountain peak and the largest lake in the region as well as the first cathedral and castle ever built in the Americas.  Year-round golf and temperatures averaging right around 80°F make it an attractive tourist destination.

We decided to book an excursion to the 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua, about a half hour bus ride from the port.  After getting fitted with life jackets and helmets, we took a brisk two mile hike up a trail of dirt paths and dry creek beds as well as a stream or two.  When we got to the top, the real fun began as we made our way down a series of "cascadas" into pools of water.  Sometimes you would lay on your back and slide down on the smooth rocks and other times you'd just jump.  The picture above is me from the tallest jump (about 24 feet high).  Clearly, I didn't follow the direction to keep my arms at my side to avoid slapping the water hard.  We finished off the tour with a meal of beans, rice and chicken as well as some Ron Barceló rum and Cokes.  Yum!

Radio Discovery was a shortwave radio station based in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic.  They only broadcast from 1986 until 1989. 

WDDO

1240 AM WDDO was a Gospel station in Macon, Georgia.  On July 18, 2016, Cumulus Media surrendered the station's license to the FCC and it was canceled the same day.

KXTE

"X107.5" KXTE is an Alternative Rock station licensed to Pahrump, Nevada--part of the Las Vegas radio market.

KRBZ

WCNJ

A t-shirt from 89.3 WCNJ in Hazlet, New Jersey.  Couldn't find a whole lot of info about the station although it appears they carried an Oldies format at one time.  Comedian Jim Florentine's Wikipedia entry says that he was a DJ there and that it was a college station but I couldn't find what school it was affiliated with.  Anybody have more info about WCNJ?

Radio Sentrum

Radio Sentrum was a Religious station based in Trondheim, Norway.  They went on the air in 1988 and, after an ownership and name change to Norea Trondheim, ceased broadcasting in 2014.

Hitradio Ö3 is a nationwide Contemporary Hit Music station based in Vienna, Austria.  They were launched in 1967 by ORF (Österreichischer RundFunk), Austria's national public service broadcaster.  Hitradio Ö3 is the most listened to station in the country, boasting the most reach and advertising time per day, more than all private Austrian radio stations combined.

WDDK

"Dock 103.9" WDDK is a combo Talk/Oldies station licensed to Greensboro, Georgia.  They are also an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.

KXTC

99.9 FM KXTC is a Rhythmic CHR station licensed to Thoreau, New Mexico.

KSAA

According to this article, "Casa 105" KSAA spun Top-40 out of a reconverted house on First Street in Casa Grande, Arizona.  They were on the air for a little over three years from 1979 to 1983.

Cool Whip

 "Cool 96.5" WQLL was an Oldies station licensed to Bedford, New Hampshire from 1997 until 2005.

"98.3 The Whip" WWHP played a mix of Classic Country, Americana, Blues and Bluegrass.  They were licensed to Farmer City, Illinois which is part of the Bloomington, IL radio market.  The station's creative use of a radio antenna as whip was a pretty great logo.

A Pack of KOOLs

"Kool 98" KKCL was a Classic Hits station in Lubbock, Texas.  They are now branded as "Awesome 98!"

"Kool 95.9" WKKD (Will Kane Kendall DuPage--counties in their listening area) was an Oldies station licensed to Aurora, Illinois.

"Kool 101.9" WKLU was a Classic Rock station licensed in Indianapolis, Indiana.

 "Kool 99.3" KEFH plays Classic Hits in Amarillo, Texas.
