98.7 FM WMZQ has been a Country music station in Washington, DC since 1977.  Their original program director says he chose the call letters as an homage to Chicago's WMAQ--another successful, large-market Country station.

WMAP

1060 AM WMAP was on the air in Monroe, North Carolina from 1947 until the mid-1990s.
 

WJZZ

105.9 FM WJZZ played Jazz in Detroit, Michigan from 1974 until 1996.  The station had actually carried this format going all the way back to 1960 when they first began broadcasting with call letters WCHD.
 

WFAE

90.7 FM WFAE (W Fine Arts Education) is a non-commercial, public radio station in Charlotte, North Carolina.  They went on the air in 1977 and are also heard on 90.3 FM WFHE as well as two translator stations.

97.7 FM WCAV was a Country station in Boston, Massachusetts from 1977 until 1999.
 

KVCX

101.5 FM KVCX is a Religious station licensed to Gregory, South Dakota.  They are one of more than 50 stations and translators in the VCY America radio network.

95.3 FM KRJC is a Country station in Elko, Nevada.

88.3 FM KAXL is an Adult Contemporary Christian station in Bakersfield, California.

 

CFOS

560 AM CFOS airs a mix of Oldies and News/Talk in Owen Sound, Ontario.  They went on the air in March of 1940.

"B95.3" WUBB was a Country station licensed to York Center, Maine from 1999 to 2008.
 

WPKE

WMAG is an Adult Contemporary station licensed to High Point, North Carolina now known as "Mix 99.5"
 

WHVL

1600 AM WHVL was on the air in (W) HendersonVilLe, North Carolina from 1963 until 1987 when they became WTZQ.
 

WDMS

100.7 FM WDMS (W David M Segal--a former owner) is a Country station licensed to Greenville, Mississippi.
 

WAOR

A 1993 sticker from 95.3 FM WAOR licensed to Niles, Michigan.  According to that year's Broadcasting Yearbook, the station did indeed carry a (W) Album Oriented Rock format.  Niles is part of the South Bend/Elkhart, Indiana media market.
 

KTLQ / KEOK

1350 AM KTLQ has been broadcasting in (K) TahLeQuah, Oklahoma since 1957.  They currently carry a Classic Country format known as "Billy Country."  At some point they simulcast on 101.7 FM KEOK as "OK Country."
 

KPCW

91.7 FM KPCW (K Park City Wireless) is a public radio station in Park City, Utah.  They are also heard on two translator stations--88.1 FM in Coalville and 91.9 FM in Heber City.

 

KLIP

"LA 105" KLIP plays Classic Hits in Monroe, Louisiana.
 

KEXO

"Z1230 AM" was a Spanish-language station in Grand Junction, Colorado.  KEXO currently carries a Sports format as an ESPN Radio affiliate.
