Jeronimo Groovy

Jeronimo Groovy existed in various forms beginning in 1966 including as an unlicensed medium wave pirate station.  They were originally based in the Athens suburb of Chalandri, Greece and in its 80s and 90s heyday helped define Electronica, Euro Dance and House music culture in that country.  The wildly popular station eventually moved to the FM dial and expanded into a magazine and music video television channel.  Despite ongoing licensing and interference problems Jeronimo Groovy continued until around 2005.
