WRVG

89.9 WRVG was the (W) Radio Voice of Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky.  Radio at the school dates back to 1958 with the AM station WGTC.  WRVG went on the air in 1963 with a mere 40 watts of power but in 1998 they upgraded to 50,000(!) watts, perhaps one of the biggest signal upgrades in history.  It was short-lived though as the station was sold in 2003 and is now yet another K-LOVE affiliate.  WRVG lives on at 93.7 as a low-power FM station with 100 watts.  According to their Wikipedia page, the student-run outlet plays Top-40 during the day and Oldies at night.
