Bayerischer Rundfunk

Bayerischer Rundfunk ("Bavarian Broadcasting") is a public-service radio and television broadcaster based in Munich, Germany.  They were founded in 1922 as Deutsche Stunde in Bayern and became Bayerischer Rundfunk in 1931.  BR is partly funded through commercial advertising but most of their operating budget is derived from viewer and listener license fees which every houshold in Germany is required to pay.

Bayern 1 - Popular music and information

Bayern 2 - Spoken word/News/Documentaries along with some music (Alternative, Jazz and Folk)

Bayern 3 - Pop music targeted to a younger audience

BRKlassik - Classical music and opera

BR24 - Rolling news and traffic updates, short-form thematic programs (culture/sports/science/politics)

Five other unique BR channels are available through Digital Audio Broadcasting and internet streaming.

102 FM has been on the air in Tel Aviv, Israel since September 1996.
 

KDNZ

KDNZ was a student-run radio station at the University of San Francisco in San Francisco, California.  This article says that they were founded in 1963 as an AM station.  By the late 1990s they were broadcasting concurrently on 880 AM, 88.1 FM, local cable TV channel 3 and online.  The demise of KDNZ was largely due to a lack of student involvement.  Another factor could be that there weren't enough people on campus to staff both KDNZ and the school's other station, the more popular KUSF.

WRVV

WRVV "97.3 The River" is a Classic Rock station in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  Their Wikipedia page claims that they were the first radio station in the United States to be known as "The River" which is a branding they've used since 1992.

WOPR

90.3 FM WOPR was a student-run radio station operating from Oak Park High School in Oak Park. Michigan.  The 10-watt station was on the air from 1974 until 1985 when budget cuts forced them off the air.
 

WGSM

740 AM WGSM broadcast from 1951 to 2005 and was licensed to Huntington, New York.  They carried many formats over the years but were probably an Adult Standards outlet when this sticker was printed.
 

KSJV

91.5 FM KSJV is a Spanish Variety station in Fresno, California.  They are one of more than two dozen stations in the Radio Bilingüe network.

KPPL

107.5 FM "K-People" was a Beautiful Music/MOR station in Denver, Colorado circa the late 1970s.  KPPL flipped to Modern Rock around 1983 and but then quickly shifted to Adult Contemporary the next year.
