CJJC went on the air in Langley, British Columbia in 1963 with a Country format. They originally broadcast on 850 AM before moving to 800 AM in 1975 along with a substantial power increase to 10,000-watts. After they were sold in the mid-1980s CJJC changed call letters to CJUP and flipped to Top-40.

1300 AM WTAX went on the air from Streator, Illinois in 1923 and moved to Springfield, IL in 1930. They moved to their current dial position of 1240 AM in 1941. Today WTAX carries a News/Talk format and is also heard on WTAX FM at 93.9 FM. Sister station 103.7 FM WDBR has been a Top-40 station since the early 1970s.

1430 AM WWWQ "3WQ" began in 1978 as an Adult Contemporary station. In 1982 they flipped to Country but kept the "3WQ" branding. This lasted until 1985 when they changed call letters to WKSD. WWWQ was licensed to Panama City, Florida.

A mid-1970s sticker from 1290 AM WREY in Louisville, Kentucky. They went on the air in 1966 and by 1979 has changed call letters to WDGS. The 1976 Broadcasting Yearbook lists them as having a Middle-of-the-Road format and they were also a Country station at one time as well. WREY was licensed to New Albany, Indiana.

WKDU
91.7 FM WKDU is operated by the students of Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Campus radio at Drexel began in the late 1950s with carrier current station WMAX (and later WXDT.) The Free-Form WKDU went on the air in 1971 and broadcasts with 800 watts.
