Apparently they switched their city-of-license as I have it listed as Orcutt, California in my records. After going dark for awhile they seem to be back on the air as of late August according to this Radio-Talk discussion forum.

Both KGDP FM and AM went off the air in Aug 2008.
The licensure for the AM station changed to Oildale because it was bought by Calvary Chapel and is no longer the same station.
Also, there was a KGDP FM that as of Dec 2009 will be owned by another Christian company, Family Life Radio, out of Arizona.
It is my job, to "clean up" the web of any "old" info about the station so that the new station has a fresh start, which is how I came across your blog. So i figured I would update it a bit for you because wikipedia is perpetually unreliable.

PS. Gloria Dawn Patterson is quite possibly one of the sweetest ladies you'll ever meet! Can you imagine that even after working for the station I didn't even know it was named after her!? You learn something new everyday! (I checked, and that actually was true :)
