Former sister station WHTG-FM went on the air in 1961 originally at 105.5 FM. They moved to 106.3 FM in 1965 and carried the call letters until 2010. The above sticker from 1994 dates to when they carried an Alternative Rock format. WHTG DJ and program director Matt Pinfield went on to become an MTV VJ of note as host of influential Modern Rock program "120 Minutes."

WHTG AM & FM
1410 AM WHTG (W Harold and Theo Gade--the station's first owners) went on the air in November 1957. They are licensed to Eatontown, New Jersey and currently carry an Oldies format.
